Hi I'm Kelsey Schoeneman

Currently serving as a full time missionary in the Tallahassee, Florida mission.

About Me

I am currently 19 years old. I am going to be serving as a full time sister missionary in the Tallahassee, Florida mission. The kitchen is my favorite room in the house because I love to cook and try making new things. Plus I just simply enjoy food, who doesn't? I ran long distance for my high school track team my senior year. Running is one of my most favorite things to do when I have time for it. Its not the running part that I enjoy so much, but its the part of running that I am able to push my body to limits I never thought possible. I am a pretty outgoing person and I love to make new friends anywhere I go. Fall is my favorite season because I absolutely love colder weather and drinking hot chocolate. I spend a majority of my time with either friends or family members. I love to laugh and make jokes. I am very light hearted and have a very bubbly personality. I really enjoy hiking and being outdoors. Shopping and decorating are a few other things that I personally love consuming my time with. Really, the only subject I enjoy is English because, math isn't my forte. I consider myself a very determined person that sets a lot of goals for myself to strive to reach.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a Mormon my whole entire life, and that is something I take a lot of pride in knowing. It is the way I want to live my life and what I want to be known as. To me being involved in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is the foundation to my life as an individual. The gospel brings me so much comfort and joy in knowing how much my Savior Jesus Christ loves me. Being a Mormon gives me hope in times of despair and in times of sadness. It is that light in my life that I can not receive anywhere else. I think the most important aspect to remember about Mormons is that we are all just regular people living life just as anyone else would be doing. But the knowledge of the gospel, that being a Mormon offers to me is what makes living life a whole lot more bearable.

How I live my faith

I attend church regularly, and by regularly I mean every single Sunday. I make church a priority in my life because I know it is important for me to attend in order for my faith to further in my Savior. Attending church also sets the precedent for the rest of my week by starting that following week off with a refreshed mindset. As a youth before I had graduated I also attended the youth group that the church provides for kids 12-18 every single Tuesday. It was important for me to be there because it was a time that I was able to interact with others my own age and to be involved in activities that helped my knowledge grow in the gospel.
