Hi I'm Ashley

I am a mormon.

About Me

I am currently a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I am going to preach the gospel in Portuguese to people in Boston. Before I I had the opportunity I lived in Arizona with my family. I love the heat and everything that comes with it! I loved to go to the lake with my family and boat and jet ski. In high school I participated in track and cross country and reffed soccer. In the future I hope to go to medical school and would love to practice emergency medicine.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it brings me so much happiness. I know the happiness I receive comes straight from God. He created a plan for us, and through this plan we have the ability to return and live with God again. Its a pretty cool plan called the plan of salvation, and its all centered on Jesus Christ. You should totally find out more about it. I also know that this is the only church that has the complete truth, and God's authority. The church and authority of God was restored though the prophet Joseph Smith.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by making good freinds, good choices, and participating in church activities. I always try to make friends that build me up, and not tear me down. With friends that always encourage me to choose the right, I am less tempted to make wrong choices. I also try to make good choices when ever possible. I want to do my best to make my family proud of me and everything that I do. I also live my faith by participating in church activities. This includes participating in my weekly church youth group, going to church every week and helping out my fellow church members when they need it.

What is being a Mormon like?

Ashley
Being a Mormon is one of the best things that could ever happen to someone. When you join the Mormon church, you join a family. Some People say that being anmormon restricts you, but I think t does just the opposite! When you are Mormon, you get to go to church every week, have ward parties, make new friends, go to activities with people your age, have dances once a month and so much more. But in the end the biggest thing you can do by becoming a Mormon is becoming closer to God! Daily prayer and scripture study helps to make you discover new things. In the end it's a win win situation! Show more Show less
