Hi I'm Leisha

I'm a musician, artist, and wife, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I play the violin, guitar, piano, and I love to sing. For me, writing music is just putting onto paper the melody of my heart. I'm a cosmetologist and I love to help people feel more beautiful and more confident about themselves. It's great to see them smile at themselves in the mirror. Maybe for some they have never smiled at that sight, and I get to change that. A few weeks ago I was sealed to my best friend, and puzzle piece for time and all eternity. I love that, I love him. We are on an incredible roller coaster and the ride is just starting.

Why I am a Mormon

I was baptized into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints when I was 8 years old. Recently I was asked to speak in church on my conversion story. For me, growing up in the church it was hard to pin down a specific time when I felt I was "converted" But I realized, through the small and simple miracles of life I know that God does exist, he loves us, and he has a plan, a plan of Happiness for each one of us. I love this knowledge, and that's why I'm a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I go to church every Sunday so that I can learn and grow and become closer to my Father in Heaven. I love to pray, communicating with Heavenly Father is such a blessing for me and my heart feels him listening. I love helping and connecting with people I normally wouldn't. I like to write sweet notes, bake cookies, or just hug someone who looks like they need a little pick-me-up. It's one of the things that makes me the happiest. I feel doing the simple things makes the big picture look a little easier.
