Hi I'm Adam

I'm from Cali, though my heart got lost in Houston. I love Latin American Culture. And I'm a Mormon

About Me

When I look back on my life and see all that I've been through, my heart is humbled in loving gratitude to my Heavenly Father and the Savior Jesus Christ. Since a young boy I've suffered from obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD) and depression. I've been scared to be alone, afraid of making the smallest mistake and prone to anxiety attacks from something as simple as making a phone call or missing a test question. I never knew what was wrong with me or who to turn to for help. Yet thanks to my relationship with God, a relationship developed in this the Church of Jesus Christ, I've been guided to people who have helped me and offered medical assistance for my problems. Now I can get an A- or even a B on a test without panicking. I've come to know myself as a person, no longer afraid of making a wrong decision. I've been blessed with faith and confidence in my Savior Jesus Christ. Never have I been happier, a happiness I owe entirely to God. I know that He is our father and loves us His children, always willing to guide and look out for us if we but turn to Him in faith. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Why I am a Mormon

Because it's true. Because God wants me to be a mormon. Because this is the Church of Jesus Christ, as it's name states. Because I prayed and asked God if this is His church, and He answered me, as He will answer any who ask, because we are His children and He loves us and wants to guide us back to His presence. Because I love God and am no longer afraid to do what He asks of me (even when it can be so hard).

How I live my faith

I try to follow the example of Jesus Christ and do whatever God the Father would have me do. I continually seek ways to be more like Jesus and to spread his good news. I mourn with those who mourn, and comfort those in need of comfort. I love God, and I try to share His love with His children--my fellow brothers and sisters. I invite anyone in need of help to contact me on facebook. I don't know who you are, but I love you and promise to do my best to help you in anyway that I can.
