Hi I'm Ciera

I live in Texas. I'm a student. I'm a mormon!!

About Me

I am a 16 year old high school student! With only six other members at my school we stick together to make the best of this time in our lives. I have two younger brothers and two youngers sisters. Me and my best friend currently reside in the same room (my sister) by choice. When I grow up I want to hold the title of mom and Dr. I may not have to be a doctor but I know for sure that I want to have a vocation in the medical field! Life can be great as long as you fill it with things that you love!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born in the church, but it was still my decision to continue to be a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Later Day Saints. At the age of eight I had the desicion to be baptized into the church as an offical memeber. Even since then I have had many oportunities to leave. It is the little things that keep me true. Plus I rely on the relationship that I have with my heavenly father to not only get me through every day but those days that I would not otherwise be able to make it through.

How I live my faith

My day starts at 5:30 am. I wake up to get ready for seminary ( a scripture study with the other high school students). Then the real test begins, high school. There my goal is to stand up for what I know is true and to remeber who I am. Then my favorite part of my day begins, the time I get to spend time with my family. Together we eat and work on homework. To end the day we have family scripture study and prayer followed by personal scripture study and prayer! Stuck in the middle of some of the every day events are some weekly events. Like piano, sports, volunteer work and friends. No matter how full my schedule is I always make time for the golspel, for my benifit. It is what keeps me going!

Do Mormons worship Joseph Smith?

We do not worship Joseph Smith, we recognize him as a prophet and respect the sacrifices he made to help restablish the church here apon the earth. Show more Show less
