Hi I'm David

I am a family man and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I enjoy spending time with my wife and kids, swimming, traveling, and playing XBOX 360 or PS3.

Why I am a Mormon

My dad was Baptist and my mom Nazarene. When they were married, they joined the Methodist Church, where I was christened. Later, they were introduced to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. They felt something different, something special. The missionaries answered their questions and more importantly, God answered their prayers. They joined; later I felt that same feeling and received that same answer from God. I was baptized and I served a 2 year Spanish-speaking service mission to Riverside, California. Some of my brothers also served missions in Phoenix, Arizona and Osorno, Chile. I am proud to be a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I go to church each Sunday. I visit others to make sure their families are doing okay. I go to the temple. I serve others by extending a helping hand, holding doors open, or mowing lawns. I lead many of the men at our congregation. I try to be a good father and good husband. I live my life by the standards established by God, and I am blessed for it. My life is not perfect, I have trials. But I also have hope, faith, and confidence that what I am doing is right in the sight of God.
