Hi I'm Selena

I am a wife and blessed to be a stay at home mom to three loveable, full of energy, fun kiddos. And yes, I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a wife to one very hard working husband. He helps me to be able to stay at home with our kids. It's hard at times, financially, but with faith we can get through it. I love getting out and enjoying nature. You can call me sporty. I love to play softball, snowboard and swim with the family on those hot days. The newest thing I like to do is run. It keeps me in shape and you can also say it's a bit of "ME" time.

Why I am a Mormon

I thank my husband for inviting me to church about 9 years ago. Yes, I am a convert to the church. I honestly don't want to imagine my life with out the gospel of Jesus Christ ever again. As I was learning about the gospel, "LIFE" started to make sense. Where we came from, why we are here, and where we are going. I remember the very first time I felt the spirit testify that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints was the true church. I was visiting the LDS Temple in Laie, HI. While walking on the temple grounds and taking in all the beauty, I felt this warm and very overwhelming feeling inside me. I stopped my friend who I was with and asked if we could sit on the bench and say a prayer. I thanked my Heavenly Father for helping me and for all of my blessings. Now, I am married to my best friend and we have three beautiful children. I am grateful to raise them in the gospel and help be a good example to my family.

How I live my faith

I help teach the young "women" we have class every Sunday as well as mid-week activities. These girls really teach me, they are great examples to the youth. If you want to know for your self that this is Jesus Christs church, I have a scripture for you. Prayerfully read in the Book of Mormon Alma Ch.32 verse 28. I know that that scripture stood out to me when I was learning about the church and the feelings that I was feeling were like a seed and they grew within me and I gained my own testimony.
