Hi I'm Braedon Harvey

I'm a Mormon. I grew up in Louisville Kentucky until i was 10 years old. I now live in Utah. I love to sing and I'm a Mormon

About Me

I grew up in Louisville Kentucky in a single parent home. When i was 10 years old my Father came back into my life. My family and i then moved to Tampa Bay Florida where i lived with both my mother and my father. But my father had some bad habits and we had to get out of there. I believe the Lord helped us get away from this bad situation in my life. But my father is not a bad person. I am serving a mission as of September 21st. And before i left i tried to keep in constant contact with my father. I love him very much and he inspired me to get into the thing i love most!! SINGING!!! I believe i can influence peoples lives through music, and in fact. its what i desire most. I want to make people smile, make people dance, I want them to know that their Heavenly Father loves them and i believe that is possible by the Holy Ghost bearing testimony through music. I'm a missionary, singer and more importantly A Member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints

Why I am a Mormon

I am not a perfect person, but i try. Throughout my life i have hurt those i loved most and tried my best to make amends. but a person can only go so far. I've been a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints all my life. BUT! i wasn't truly converted until i was at the age of 17. I was making some wrong choices and my life and like every teenage kid, i thought i knew everything. But i was wrong! One day when i was doing stupid things i got the impression to go to my Seminary building. As i did i got the impression to go to a certain class. When i arrived they were watching a video. I invite you to watch it. It is about a man pushing his Mentally Handicapped Son through a marathon in a wheelchair. His name was Dick Hoyt and he is one of the most amazing fathers on this Earth. The video is on YOUTUBE, "I Can Only Imagine, Dick and Rick Hoyt" This 3 minute video changed my life as the seminary teacher explained that this father would get in shape and run with his son. He then related it to how our Heavenly Father wants to help us run this race. We just need to let him know we need his help. Do not be afraid to turn to the Lord. He loves you very much and wants to be a part of your life. I want whoever is going to read this to know that I KNOW he loves you! I KNOW he KNOWS YOU!! and I KNOW he Wants to be with you! Amen

How I live my faith

I'm serving a mission!!! XD

Why do Mormons perform baptisms for the dead?

Braedon Harvey
Because God is a fair and a just God and wants to give everyone the oppurtunity to return and live with him. Baptism is one of the Ordinances we need in order to take full advantage of Christs Atonement and to receive The Gift of the Holy Ghost. It is a proxy Ordinance just as is the Atonement.
