Hi I'm felicia

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in a small village in south east Alaska I've lived there my whole life. I recently moved up here to Wasilla, Alaska where I met some missionaries. My whole life is the church now. And I love it. My family is Russian orthodox, I have no idea what they teach. My family knows more then I do. When in was being taught by the missionaries I come to find that I have made a better connection with this church then Any other church I've been to. That is how i know this church is true and the book of Mormon is true. It helps us live a happy life. And teaches us great values. I hope one day that my family and the ones I love Will come to and understanding of this church and want to be apart of it and live happy lives.

Why I am a Mormon

I didn't really a whole lot about what a prophet was, what the atonement really meant, the Restoration, the plan of salvation, the true gospel Jesus Christ. Until i met two missionaries who were willing to teach me about the gospel. They taught me for two weeks, i wasn't really getting any of it at first and they would ask me if i had any questions i had tons. And all of then were answered. Some of my questions were about The Plan of Salvation, God says in order to go to Heaven, you must be born again. Even before God created the world, He prepared a plan that allows us to learn and grow during this life. Jesus Christ is the center of this plan. Christ’s mission was not only to teach us about God the Father and how we should live, but also to make a way for us to be forgiven after we sin. Sin is more than just making a mistake. When we sin we disobey God's commandments or fail to act correctly despite our knowledge of the truth (James 4:17).  Ive always known God, Jesus and the holy ghost existed. My family comes from the russian orthidox i was born a russian orthidox but had now idea how the religion worked. I was baptized on February 26, 2011 at noon. To the church of Jesus Christ and the Ladder-day saints. There were many people there to support me i was very thankful. I have now been a member for about 8 months. I love it! I go to church faithfully, i read my scriptures as much as i can. I meet with the missionaries as much as i can to learn and grow, my testimony has grown so much since ive been an active member, i am so happy with how my life is now. Their is so much about the gospel that i love and i know that this church is true. Faith in Jesus Christ leads us to good works. As we follow His example and live according to His words, we will feel our faith growing until it becomes an active force in our lives, helping us repent of our sins and deal with our challenges.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by following the commandments, reading my scriptures, praying to god to feel comfort and repenting when i know I've done wrong or feel like i have done wrong.. I believe that having faith in Christ is truly the way to live a happy life.
