Hi I'm Nancy

I am a stay-at-home mom of 6, living it up in the Badlands of North Dakota! I love my family, and I am a Mormon!

About Me

I am a Stay-at-home-mom from a small town in Idaho. I now live in an even smaller town in the oil fields of North Dakota! I homeschool my children, and love it. In my (VERY LITTLE) spare time, I love to read, work out, watch movies and just hang out with my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I was not raised a Mormon, although I was raised in a primarily LDS community. I was baptized at 18. It took me almost ten years to realize how important His gospel is to me. I am so thankful that I was baptized into His church. My husband and I were recently sealed ot our 3 children, and I feel so blessed to have made those covenants with my Heavenly Father. I know this Church is HIS Church. I know that we live in a blessed time when the Gospel has been restored. I know that Jesus Christ is our Savior. I know that he died for me. I know that Heavenly Father loves each of us. I know that Joseph Smith was and that Thomas S. Monson is a prophet of God. I know that through prayer, Scripture study, Family Home Evenings we can grow closer to our Heavenly Father. I know that He has a plan for us, and that plan is truly THE plan of happiness!

How I live my faith

I strive to live my faith by setting a good example. I try to be diligent in my visiting teaching calling, and love my calling to teach the 5 year-olds in our ward. I also strive to be diligent in my church attendance, scripture study and consistent prayer. I try to take the opportunity to serve others anytime I can, and to be thankful for the opportunity to do so.
