Hi I'm Tom Carr

Yes I am a Mormon, served a Mission to Independence MO. Live In Tooele Utah and hunt Ghost. The founder of Wasatch Paranormal

About Me

I am the father of three fantastic children, a beautiful wife,  I have been interested in the Paranormal for most of my life, and find that it has not only grown my faith in Christ, but it has grown my faith in my church. I am the author of a book on the subject, and the host of radio show that deals with the Paranormal. I have been walking in the dark for over twenty years. As the founder of Wasatch Paranormal, a ghost hunting team based in Salt Lake City, Utah, and host of the popular paranormal podcast Residual Haunting Revived (now going into its sixth year), I am also an author, having written Talking to yourself in the Dark, and movie producer. He owns Bag of Holding media; a production company that looks forward to making films that are family friendly. Tom made his film debut as a writer and director of Extra Credit, a short horror film that aired at and was given an honorable mention at the Canadian film fest. Sick of the blood and guts horror that dominate so much of Hollywood,my aim is to bring back the days when Movies not only had a moral compass but dived into history.; with a goal to make films that you can watch with your kid, I am now working on new projects: a short steam punk film, a full length horror film called Slow Drain and a web series The Pinkerton's. People Tom admired growing up were Alfred Hitchcock, Stanley Kubrick, George Romero, and J.R.R Tolkien, he hopes to bring his own specific touch and expertise to the realms of creativity they inspired.

Why I am a Mormon

I was a very inactive member of the church, and somedays feel I still am. It is not easy being Mormon, but our Lord has said it would not be easy but worth it. I went on a mission and love the gospel. I have many friends that are not LDS and feel they are as much of my life as members. I love the church and feel it is the right belief for me.

How I live my faith

I have found that as a leader to a Paranormal team It has put me in front and seen by many. Many know I am LDS, I have many who join me on Paranormal investigations because of my belief and feelings. I enjoy living my faith and somedays I find it hard to follow even the most simple gospel teachings. But I know as a husband and father it is important for me to show my wife and children how I feel. One of the greatest blessings I have had in my life has been my family, kneeling each night in pray with my family next to me helps me contiune living my faith.
