Hi I'm Steve

I'm a husband, father, brother, uncle, son, friend, christian, and a child of God. I enjoy sports. I love people. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am married to a great lady and am the father of two awesome daughters, they bring me much joy. I have been selling insurance for 35 years. I enjoy helping others. I always enjoy interacting with friends and other people.I have always enjoyed sports.I served as a president of a little league for many years. I was an avid bowler. I have traveled the country playing softball . I am honored that I was inducted into the softball hall of fame. I come from a very large family,5 brothers and 2 sisters, And I love spending time with them.My family makes me very happy, and we do many things together. We always support one another. Families are forever.

Why I am a Mormon

There comes a time in everyone's life when they must find out for themselves what their beliefs are. This happened to me around the age of 29 when I had a very serious illness. I was able to read the scriptures and to ponder, "Where did I come from?," "What am I doing here?," and "Where am I going?" The answers to these questions became very clear to me. My testimony is that God lives. That Jesus is the Christ and the Son of a Living God. He is our Savior and the Redeemer of all Mankind. He came forth to ransom us from our sins and to teach us how we should live by His divine example. By Him and through Him, we may return to live with God someday. I believe we all want to belong to something bigger than we are. And there is no greater example than Jesus the Christ. He is the only perfect man to walk this earth. He is my hero, my older brother, and my Savior. And I love Him,and want to follow Him. Jesus Christ is the cornerstone of our faith and our religion And this is why I am a Christian and a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

How I live my faith

I enjoy serving my ward, or congregation, as a bishop, and a friend. I find great joy in serving the youth and in visiting with all people, especially our senior citizens. I also enjoy planning and being involved in activities, such as dances, chili cook-offs, talent shows, and holiday celebrations. I believe the best way to live my religion is by example and by service to others.I truly believe when your in the service of your fellow men you are in the service of the Lord.I believe the Lord wants us to put "our whole self in".That's what its all about..
