Hi I'm Abish

I've lived all over the world, I love my family, I love college and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

At some point in our lives we have to switch from dreaming of what we want to be when we grow up, to actually deciding and doing something about it. At first I wasn't sure what to be, but I decided on doing the thing I love most: working with children. My degree is in Child Development. Some call it the "Mom degree," but hey, it's true. It is something that will help me become a better mother and who wouldn't want that. Also, I just love working with children, I practically am one. I am a firm believer of doing what you love, doing what makes you happy. Being with children is not the only thing that makes me happy. I love my Savior, and developing a relationship with Him makes me happy. I am so grateful for the knowledge I have of God's plan for me. I see His hand in my life in so many ways!

Why I am a Mormon

Because I know the Book of Mormon is true

How I live my faith

"Mormons" or Latter-Day Saints are actually a whole lot like normal people (you would be surprised at how many people think otherwise.) I go to church on Sundays, and then go to work at a Day Care the rest of the week (that is when I'm not at school). I think a big way that my faith affects the way I live is that it gives me confidence. I know who I am; A child of God. He loves me, and through modern day revelation He has shown us the way to return to live with Him. By following the example of Jesus Christ I am lead to serve those around me and help other's see Christ's light through me.
