Hi I'm Sean

I love skiing, climbing, traveling and meeting people from all over the world. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up most of my life in Utah, and man it was fun. I backpacked Europe right after I graduated High School, and have been wanting to travel the world ever since. One of my favorite places to go is a Hindu Temple, where I used to volunteer at. I liked to feed all the animals and hear stories from all the workers there. Especially the crazy ones. I have an awesome family and friends that really support me and help me out when I need it. I like spicy food and trying new things.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I was challenged to pray and ask if this was God's true church (meaning complete) and if Joseph Smith was a prophet. I was fourteen at the time. I decided to take the challenge and I prayed and God answered me! Cool right? When I received my answer it changed the course of my life forever. Because of that I know that God lives and answers prayers, Joseph Smith was a Prophet, which means the Book of Mormon is true. And of course, that Jesus Christ is my Savior and he helps me out. It hasn't been the easiest since then, but it has all been worth it.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to cheer other people up, especially if it means making a fool of myself. I usually just talk until something silly comes out of my mouth and that gets them to lighten up. I hate seeing people down and sad, and I think we can do a lot more to help people on a day to day basis. I also like to shake things up a bit and try to help people focus on the important things, like loving one another and sharing the Gospel, instead of worrying about what table cloth to use at the next church party (that is an extreme example, don't quote me on it). Right now I'm serving as a full time missionary, which is pretty neat-o. I get to help people as much as I want to, almost every day. And I say silly things all the time which makes it even better.

Do Mormons only help Mormons?

No way Jose. I like to help people that aren't Mormon. It makes it fun to find out about their background and help out with what they need. Show more Show less

Does The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints endorse political parties?

Thank heavens no. I would really hate that. We can vote for who we want to vote for and there is not church stand on which party is right. Show more Show less
