Hi I'm Kim

I'm a mother, a wife, a teacher. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

One of my favorite things to do is get on my bike and ride. I am always looking for new places to go my bike. It saves on gas and is my favorite kind of exercise. Besides being so happy outside I am also very happy in a library. or any craft or fabric store. My husband and I have been married for 23 years. How can so much time go by so fast? We have always lived in the Pacific Northwest. but have moved from one state to the next. Our oldest daughter is a junior is High School and doing college algebra. So that means I can no longer help her with any of that homework! (It has been too long.) Our son is in middle school and I can not keep up with how fast he grows out of his jeans, or how much cereal he consumes in the morning. Our youngest daughter is in elementary school and still dresses in pink or purple from head to toe almost everyday. It will be a sad day when she no longer wants to be a princess for Halloween.

Why I am a Mormon

When we moved to our town a few years ago I was worried. Then the very first Sunday we went to church here I had such a peaceful feeling that this is the same church with just a different group of great people. I am a Mormon because I want Jesus Christ to be the center of my life. and my families lives as well. Being a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is helps me to focus my life spiritually.

How I live my faith

I work with children everyday and that is rewarding and patience testing. Being a mother and a teacher reminds me everyday how important my influence for good can be in their lives. I have a wonderful calling to serve all the young children in our church, but especially the 11 yr old boys. These boys are almost young men and when they make choices to follow Jesus Christ they are on the right path, and I love being a part of that.
