Hi I'm Wendi

I'm a grateful wife and mom. I love being with my family and friends. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hi, I'm Wendi. I'm deeply grateful to be a wife, a mother, a friend, a daughter, a sister, and all the other roles I play in this life. I'm also a grateful Mormon! I spend most of my time being a mom and caring for our family. I enjoy playing racquetball, the piano, and doing projects around the house. I love traveling with my family and exploring the beautiful world in which we live.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up a Mormon but there came a time when I had to decide if I believed those things I'd been taught as a child. I went away from home to work as a nanny and lived with a family of a different religion. My values and principles were questioned often by those I met. I came to know for myself that my beliefs provided answers and guidance in a world where it can be difficult to understand our purpose. I have studied, prayed and shared in order to better understand and strengthen those feelings. I served a mission in Italy and was able to see the lives of many young people changed as they accepted the gospel of Jesus Christ. I feel immense joy as I try to follow the Savior and live those same principles He taught while He was here on earth.

How I live my faith

I love to serve in my childrens' schools, in my neighborhood, in the community, in my own home, and in the church. I try hard to observe those around me and find ways to lift, strengthen and offer support. Sometimes it can be as simple as dropping by a cookie and some milk to cheer someone in need. I have served in many capacities in the church and find that I always learn and grow more than those I serve. I currently serve in the women's organization and love getting to know the amazing ladies at church!
