Hi I'm Desiree

Hi! I am a mother x 4, a wife, a creative blogger, a paint brush best friend, a Spaniard, a daughter of God, I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hi! I'm Desirée. ...i am an island girl, my husband's girlfriend, a mamá x 4, a daughter of God , a sister, a friend, a dreamer, a blogger, a Mormon. …i love to eat, to dance, to read, to write, to imagine. …i adore Mister Frank Sinatra, sharing time with friends and family, the ocean, old cities, aprons, cooking, singing in the shower, the smell of rain, hot chocolate, taking naps, making messes with my little ones. …i can never have enough journals, books, shoes, pictures, kisses, dreams. i can’t help but i don’t mind… being 5 feet tall, having an Spaniard accent when I speak English, sing my heart out inside of my little car while driving, believing that everyone has the right to experience true joy.

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon because... I know in my heart that the teachings that the missionaries shared with me so many years ago are TRUE. Through those teaching I came to the knowledge that I am a daughter of God, that His love for me and for you, for all of us, is infinite. I am a Mormon because... I know that the Book Mormon is true. Inside of this remarkable book I have found hope, strength, and a desire to be and become a better me. I am a Mormon because... I can't denied what I felt the day when the missionaries taught me about where I came from, why I am here, and where will I go. Before that day I was living my life without purpose and after that day I realized what is the purpose of living. I am a Mormon because... I believe in God, our eternal Father. I believe in his Son Jesus Christ, in his love, in his mercy, in his sacrifice. I am Mormon because I believe.

How I live my faith

Being a mormon is the best! Over the last 24 years I've been blessed with the opportunity to serve in many different callings but I have to say that my current calling is simply... AWESOME! I get to go to church every Sunday knowing that I have the privilege to share the teachings of the Savior with the children in my class. I have to admit that my little group of 11 year olds teach me more that I could ever possibly teach them. That is the beautiful thing about serving God. Don't you feel you always receive more from Him that what you give? I do and I love it!
