Hi I'm Melisa

I am a military wife and a mother of 3 and I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I'm a Navy wife of 18 years and have 3 children, we have traveled around the us with the military. I enjoy crafts and scrap-booking. My house is chaos at dinner time just like everyone else and I love it!

Why I am a Mormon

As a teenager i was left to make my own choice as to what church or faith i wanted to follow i searched for many years attend this church or that asking the questions that had always been in my head. At every turn i was not given the answer or i was told to just trust God and not worry, until the day that i walked in to a chapel of the Church of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints, where i was greeted by loving people who had ALL the answers i had been searching for. I have been a member now for 19 years. I have found peace and love and some of the most amazing people in the world.

How I live my faith

I have worked with the children of this church for a long time in the their sunday school and with the boy scouts.I also help plan service projects and teaching nights for the women. I love the opportunity i have to help people who need assistance like taking in meals, or visiting with our elderly who need some help or an ear.

What do Mormons believe about family?

Melisa
We believe that families can be together forever, meaning that we are not separated by death if we are sealed or bound together forever in the eyes of our Heavenly Father. Family's are the center of our world! Everything we learn about how to love and care and be part of a team and work with others starts in the home. Homes and our families are our safe havens from the chaos of the world. Show more Show less
