Hi I'm Zeb

I grew up in Winnemucca, Nevada. I love to play basketball. I play the Ukulele and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

So I am 20 years old, going on 21 and life has been a roller coaster ride. One of my favorite things to do is play basketball. I played in high school and learned a lot from the game about life. I spent probably a little too much of my younger days playing the xbox-360. I love video games although I a starting to see them as a waste of time.I am a machine on the game rockband. I spent a semester at college and want to go on to be a history teacher or an astronaut, while still hanging on to the dreams of being an NBA player or rockstar. I have lots of dreams that I would like to accomplish. College basketball would be tough to get into since I'm only 6" but I definitely want to try. I have a great family with three brothers and two sisters and of course my two parents. I would say I am a kind of unusual person because all of my different hobbies and things that I like.

Why I am a Mormon

Well first of all I was raised as a Mormon by family. My mom was a convert to the church and my Dad had grown up as a member his whole life. Throughout my younger years I always just believed what my parents told me about the church and went to church, maybe not always to happy about it. It did make me happy but then when I was a little bit older things started to change. I started to make some hoices that weren't the best adn started to question if the Church was true. I could no longer rely on my parents belief and had to find out if this was true for myself. So as I was taught throughout my youth I knew that in order to find out for myself was to read The Book of Mormon and pray about it to find out if it all is true. So I decided I would and I did. I received my answer and then made neccesarry changes in my life. I found out that what I had been searching for along was found within my own faith and I knew it was true. It has since filled me with joy and fullfillment ever since. I know that this is true and that Jesus Christ is my Savior. I have felt the cleansing power of his atonement in my life. I know that his church has been restored and that there is a living prophet, Thomas S. Monson, on the earth today.

How I live my faith

I am serving as a missionary for the Church and sharing this happiness that I have experienced and continue to experience with everyone that I meet. It is truly incredible to watch peoples lives change. I am a missionary for two years and will wake up each day and do things like knock on people's doors and talk to people everywhere. It is definitley the scariest thing I have ever done coming right out of high school. I am a normal 20 year old kid just doing what I know is right and true. I love it! Who knows, maybe I'll knock on your door tomorrow.
