Hi I'm Laura

I was born into the church and raised with a knowledge of my Savior. I grew up in Arkansas and have yet to do anything too amazing

About Me

I like to read, play ultimate frisbee, the piano, hang out with my friends and my family, and be outside. I go to college and I am no where near close to becoming a mom. I am not even dating at this moment.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into this church, but the reason that I remained a member is because I can clearly see the affect that the church has had on my family. There are 7 of us originally (before kids started getting married and having their own) and all of my memories as a child revolve around my family spending time together. I realize my family and how well we get along and love each other is a huge blessing, which even extends to my extended family. Even some family on my mom and dad's sides get along with each other and are friends. I know that this is a huge blessing and I am grateful to have the church in my life to make it possible. I am determined to raise my own family in the church so we can have these eternal blessings as well.

How I live my faith

My calling in church is one of the coolest I have ever had yet, because I am part of the compassionate service committee. This means that I am required to help other people have better days or make them smile. That is pretty much the coolest thing ever. Also, I am a visiting teacher to two girls in my ward, and I think this is an awesome opportunity because I am getting to know them and also having a chance to keep updated with the messages each month.
