Hi I'm Keith
I'm a dad, I'm an advocate for children, I love my Savior and I'm a Mormon.
Anyone who has even spent time in Boston knows we are passionate about everything. Our sports, our music, our beliefs, our sports, our jobs, our families, our sports. I am grateful to have parents who raised me in this environment to love life and appreciate everything about it. Those who know me will let you know that I am a little over-the-top passionate about everything I do. After a career in politics helping elect many great individuals and learning great lessons from my failures, today I am an advocate to help ensure every baby is born with a healthy start. Life is important to me. I know that we are here to prove ourselves and we have a Father in Heaven who helps us be the best we can. The close relationship I have with God helps me understand how important my role is here on earth.
Why I am a Mormon
I'm a dad and a recent grandfather, so healthy kids are very important to me. I know God loves all His children and wants what is best for us. I know He has specific things He wants and needs us to do on this earth to help our brothers and sisters along the way. He is real. His plan is real. If we follow the Gospel of Jesus Christ we will be blessed and can be successful in all we do. Every situation given me in life helps me grow and develop into a better person. When I was born, it was my mother who became severely ill. She almost didn't survive. When she passed away exactly 40 years and 15 minutes after I was born, it was a reminder to me that I should be grateful for the 40 years I did have to know her and be blessed by her influence in my life on earth. I am blessed to understand the Gospel in a way that keeps all of life's tough times in an eternal perspective. Knowing the eternal nature of families is an important part of the decisions I make every day. I can't go wrong when my family is first.
How I live my faith
Today, church is a daily activity in my life and the life of my family. We pray together, we read scriptures together, we sing together, we entertain one another and most importantly we laugh together as a family. My wife and my children are the most important pieces of my life. They keep me grounded. Religion is a passionate part of my life and who I am. That's why I am happy I'm a Mormon.
