Hi I'm Kristen

I am Kristen. I'm a photographer and a social worker. I want to travel the world. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Passing me on the street, one might glance at me and think I'm a simple, clean cut young adult. However, little do they know that I am, in fact, in love with photography and traveling. I am the happiest when I'm having "Auntie and nephew" time. I have a Bachelor's degree in Family and Human Development and a minor in Sociology. I am working on getting into an Occupational Therapy program for grad school. I am training to run a marathon within the next year. I love to laugh. And that if I could drop everything and move to New York City tomorrow, I would.

Why I am a Mormon

As a young single adult in a religion that focuses on family, I would be lying if I said I'm Mormon just because I know it's true. Let's just say my faith has been tried over and over again. However, what it all comes down to, is that when I follow the teachings of the gospel and maintain a strong relationship with Heavenly Father, I am truly happy. There is nothing else in this world that offers me the kind of peace and satisfaction I attain when I attend church, read my scriptures, and say my prayers.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to emulate the same kind of love the Savior had for other people. I have especially developed the ability of looking for good in those around me. Everyone is different, but we are all children of God. I have found joy in serving those around me, especially the less fortunate.
