Hi I'm Janae

I grew up all over the world in an Air Force family. I'm raising two little ladies in beautiful Northwest Arkansas. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a happy, hard-working mother of two little girls.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm Mormon because I love my Savior and I know that this is His church. Growing up in an Air Force family, we moved at least every two years, often more, and consistency became a very important thing to me. My family was also a Mormon Air Force family, so there WAS consistency in the mix. No matter what town, state or country we lived in, the gospel was always the same. We always knew what was happening on Sunday, even if the rest of the week was out of control. My parents were strong examples of good Christian people and I knew I wanted that for my own family one day. Life can be so tough, but there is assurance, peace and consistency in the gospel that you can always count on. I can't imagine surviving the the many trials I face without Christ pulling me through. My knowledge of the restored gospel of Jesus Christ has saved me more times than I can count. Understanding that this life is not an isolated event, but just one part of our eternal existence, has helped guide all of my life decisions. I know this is Christ's church. The gospel makes sense to me both spiritually and logically. I've seen the outcome of living outside of the standards the Lord has set for His church, and I've experienced the blessings of living the gospel of Jesus Christ...and I choose to live it.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by being honest in everything I do, by trying very hard to be loving and charitable to everyone, and by striving to improve myself as I go. I attend church every Sunday and honor the Sabbath day even when I get back home. I try to read my scriptures and pray regularly. I also try to find opportunities to help others where I'm able. I don't drink or watch inappropriate movies, and I always dress modestly. I value my relationships with family and friends and set my priorities accordingly. I try to be happy and kind, because I know my Heavenly Father wants us to be happy. Generally, I just try to be a good person and emulate the example set by Jesus Christ in my interactions with others.
