Hi I'm Seth

I have traveled to different places throughout the world from Alaska to Switzerland, but call Arizona my home. I'm a Mormon

About Me

My greatest passion is to spend time doing something that my wife likes to do - walk the city trying to become better at photography to sitting on the couch after the kids have gone to bed to watch a movie. Another passion of mine is being able to carve out time to be with my wonderful children. From a simple bike ride to the local store to a set date with each of them. Learning who they are and watching them learn something for the first time. My job, if you can call it that, is also another area I would call recreational time. From watching someone's website go from unknown to being the authority in their industry, along with all the great perks for taking that spot over.

Why I am a Mormon

At a young age I wanted to find out if what I was learning about was what God wanted me to know. I earnestly prayed to know if God had a plan for me, if he did have a direction that was better than what I could do if I just controlled my own path. I found God's plan for me. It was found by a warm spiritual feeling throughout my body. One that I do not know how to recreate on my own. As I continue to learn about God's plan for me I have felt that feeling over and over. God's spirit has touched my spirit reaffirming the Truths that have been laid from the begging. It is from His Holy Spirit, the same warm feeling, that I know the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is true. That the words within the Book of Mormon are true. Their testifying of Jesus Christ as the Savior of the world, the only one that can forgive me of my sins and redeem my soul. No works of mine can bring me to Gods kingdom, it is only through Jesus Christ that I can make it.

How I live my faith

Each day each of us has the choice to make someones day brighter. This can be done through simple acts of kindness; a smile, a friendly wave, taking the time to talk with a stranger just because you feel like they could use a person that will listen to them, and many other simple acts. In waking up I try and remember that. I try and reflect about how the day before or the week before how someone has brightened my day and how that made me feel. I want others to feel that and try to make that happen each day. I have the great opportunity to help others find out about their ancestors. The joy people have from finding out a bit of their history is exhilarating. For some it is as though they have solved the greatest detective mystery known to man. Each of us comes from a lineage that has so many wonderful and colorful stories just waiting to be told.
