Hi I'm Richard

I am a husband, a father, a project manager, I serve in the community and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have been married to my wonderful wife for 34 years and I love her more each day. We have three children that we have raised here in Liberty Lake. I have done a bit of traveling in my live and really enjoy living in the Liberty Lake area, which I consider to be one of the most beautiful places I have been. I am a project manager and have worked for several companies here in the Spokane area for the past 28 years that we have lived in the area. I have had an opportunity to work with some really great people in this area. I have served on the board of directors for my professional organization and my home owners association and currently work with those seeking employment through our church employment services. Reading is one of my hobbies and I enjoy science fiction and action adventure books. Another thing that I like to do is to build or fix things. I also enjoy taking care of our home and yard and helping my wife with her soap business where I am the set up, take down and move heavy things guy.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member of the church all my life, having been raised by parents who were members of the church. I served a mission for the church in Argentina and have been active in the church my whole life. The thing that I appreciate most about the gospel is that it just makes sense and this is what drives my testimony of its truthfulness. The plan of salvation explains our purpose here on earth, where we came from and what waits for us after we depart this life. Knowing that Jesus Christ is the Savior of all mankind and my personal Savior; and that all people will have an opportunity to accept Him and his teachings either in this life or after we leave this life is a witness to me of the Love that our Father in Heaven has for each one of us, his children.

How I live my faith

Over the years I have had the opportunity to server with many great people in the church through leadership positions and in ministering positions. My current position is to coordinate a local group of members who donate their time and talents to assist members of the community, members and non-members alike, who are unemployed or seeking better employment. We meet with people who are looking for help on a weekly basis and provide ideas and suggestions to improve or create resumes, ways to begin or expand their networking circles, ideas on where to look for job opportunities, tips on interviewing, a listening ear to let them talk about their experiences and encouragement to keep moving forward with their job search. In my mind this is a great opportunity to minister to those in need.
