Angie Rich: Mormon.

Hi I'm Angie Rich

About Me

I love experiencing the outdoors with my boys: hiking, fishing, camping, etc. I love to sing jazz. I'm a lover of 12-step programs and addiction recovery and I have a real passion for learning.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the church, but my own spiritual discovery came after I'd been married for about five years. Following a three year struggle with infertility and suicidal thoughts, I realized that my life was in need of a serious face lift. Over the next four years, I battled addictions and fears and came to know God in a real personal way. He saved me from myself and allowed me to experience the gospel in a way I never knew was possible. I believe in the atonement and that I'm worth dying for. And I believe everyone is worth saving.

Personal Stories

In what ways have your prayers been answered?

My most sincere prayers have been answered in very simple ways. Most of the time, it's a feeling of comfort and peace. Other times, I feel guided to make a certain choice. My most treasured answers have come as a deep assurance that God loves me personally and knows my needs.

How I live my faith

I've worked in many areas of the church and have found a great love in serving with the youth. I believe children need good role models to help them find happiness in their own lives. After finding myself through recovery, I've also dedicated my life to educating and supporting others through addiction.
