Hi I'm Denver

I am a missionary serving in Germany. I love and am grateful for the gospel of Jesus Christ and my family.

About Me

I like to learn about pretty much anything. Science, math, history, art, literature, religion, and languages are all subjects I am interested in. Before my mission I went to a year of college, and I plan on continuing that after I've finished. I also love to be outdoors, particularly when I'm skiing. I grew up in Utah, so skiing is definitely my favorite sport. My family and I are big TV and movie watchers, so naturally I am a pretty big fan of both of those. I would have to say my favorite movie is probably the Lord of The Rings. Above all else I enjoy spending time with my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of the church of Jesus Christ of latter day saints because its gives me a reason to live. The gospel makes me happy, it gives me joy because I believe that there is a way for me to become better and someday return to my father in heaven. I believe Jesus Christ lives and loves us, and God the Father has a plan in place for us that we may improve our lives and improve our selves. My immediate family members are all Mormons, and I'm glad that we all have the opportunity to help and support each other in our faith. On that same note I have faith that families are an eternal institution, and through God's plan and the priesthood ordinances on the earth today, and because of the Atonement of Jesus Christ, we can live together forever. These few tenants of my faith are why I continue to be a Mormon, and why I love God, Christ and my family.

How I live my faith

Right now I'm serving the Lord and the great people of Germany as a missionary, and I'm so glad I have this opportunity to do so. I prepared to serve a mission like most missionaries by attending church every Sunday, studying the holy scriptures, and participating in my ward community. I've been involved in my ward's youth groups, through which I did service projects, became friends with other kids in my area, and learned more about the gospel of Jesus Christ. During High School I attended Seminary classes, which taught me about the scriptures, the gospel, the church, and God's Love for us. I try to live to my faith every day by hoping and believing in Jesus Christ, and by acting on that hope and belief through my choices of what to do and how to act. One of the most important ways I live my faith is through repenting and changing through the power of Jesus Christ's Atonement.
