Hi I'm Karisa

I have four beautiful daughters. My husband is currently going to law school, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I graduated from college with my degree in finance an worked a few years after graduation doing accounting and managing a box office for a local music venue. After my oldest child was born, I was able to become a stay at home mom. I enjoy staying home with my kids and being able to teach them while they are still young. I enjoy everything homemaking. I enjoy sewing, cooking, crafting, and anything else I can get done during nap time.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a mormon all of my life, but I choose to be a member of His church because I know that it is true. Obeying the commandments and doing what is right blesses me beyond comprehension. I know that our Heavenly Father is always there, and just waiting to help us. I know that everything will always be okay if we follow the gospel. There will be difficult times, but as long as we obey, there will always be hope for each one of us to return to live with Him again. I know that following the standards of the church is a protection in our lives. It may not be cool or popular, but living the standards is a powerful tool to help us draw closer to our Heavenly Father.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by continually striving to do what is right and what is expected of me. My current calling is teaching the children in our ward. These young children have such a strong desire to do what is right and to follow Jesus. They are such an example to me in living each day righteously. They wear their testimony on their sleeve, and are not ashamed to share the gospel with anyone. I hope that I may follow in their footsteps and live each day righteously.
