Hi I'm Steve LeBaron

Hi my friend. I'm a husband, a dad and an engineer that loves to create, invent and have fun with friends & family. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am married to my wonderful wife - 26 years now - and we have two fun and active teenage daughters. We also have a Border Collie that adds a lot of fun to the family. Ever since I was a kid I loved to understand how things worked. I often took toys and machines apart and then often ended up creating something new out of the pieces. I loved to invent, create and build things. This lead me into engineering and yet I also love working with people. I served my mission in Japan where I grew to love the people of Japan. When I returned home I did not expect to have the opportunity to go back and yet now as a customer engineer for Boeing for the 787 launch airline, ANA, I am able to use my Japanese language skills, love for the Japanese people, love for technical things as well as my love for working with people - I feel blessed indeed.

Why I am a Mormon

Simply, I have come to know that I can be happier both in the short term as well as in the long term here on earth and in the life to come by living by the principles I have been taught. I believe this is so because I can base my decisions upon truth and an understanding of how this life relates to the rest of my existence. The things that the gospel that the church teaches makes me a happier person. I have come to know for myself that the principles taught are true, which for me means that I know that if I live my life in accordance with them, I will be happier, be at peace and have less remorse and sorrow than by living any other way.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to treat others with love and kindness. I have served in leadership with young single adults, boy scouts, youth, cub scouts and currently teach young men and women who are preparing to leave on their missions.
