Hi I'm Carla

I'm a Mormon. I am a wife and a mother of 5. I have 10 grandchildren.

About Me

I have recently buried my 32 year old son who passed away after a 2-1/2 year battle with ALS or Lou Gehrigs disease. It seems to have taken up a huge part of my life until now. I am ready to get back to the things that I enjoyed doing before that. I like to tie quilts, cross stitch, camp with my family and serve in the church.

Why I am a Mormon

I come from a long line of ancestors who sacrificed much to become members of this church. It is through their adversities that I have drawn strength through my recent trials. The love and support of my family and fellow members of my church have seen me through the trial of losing my son. I have felt the comfort of the Holy Ghost and the love of my Savior as I have prayed for comfort.

How I live my faith

I teach a lesson one Sunday a month to the sisters in our women's organization. These lessons are about the gospel of Jesus Christ. I am also the canning specialist in my ward. Through this service I teach them how to be prepared with food and water in their homes in case a need arises.
