Hi I'm Rachael

I work for the US government. I'm a Washington state native. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a convert to the church & have loved every moment of it. Generally I will be working at my job for the US government but when not I am working on the computer, cooking, or playing with my cat. Another interest I have is photography & have taken photos of various things including my brother's wedding. My schooling for grades 1-12 were at private schools where I learned about the Bible in great detail.

Why I am a Mormon

As I went to private school growing up, I learned the Bible in great detail. When I first started talking with the missionaries I was able to understand what they were saying as the messages were simular to what I had grown up with. The first book I read from the church was the Gospel Principles book I had received at Sunday school when I went to a service. Reading that book told me that this is the way to go as well as answering my questions. I was baptized and comfirmed a member of the church within a month of my first meeting with the missionaries. Since I have enjoyed being involved in many tasks as well as the feeling of belonging & acceptance no matter who you are at any level. I have also made many friends in the church which has helped me grow stronger as time continues.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by striving to be an example for others while at the same time using their experiences to help strengthen my own.
