Hi I'm Charity Hall

I'm a wife. I'm a licensed Cosmetologist in the state of California. I love life. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I just graduated from Cosmetology School and received my license. I recently moved to a new town so my husband could go to a 4 year College. WE have been here for almost 2 months and I am still unemployed. I

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church, as my parents were members. I was baptized when I turned 8. I am now almost 21 and I love the gospel even more now than I did when I became a member. Life is hard enough as it is and the gospel is my constant. It is what keeps me afloat when I fell like I am drowning under a huge to-do list. It is what comforts me when I am sad. It is what brings me joy on a daily basis. It is also my guide. I have a testimony of Joseph Smith. I know that he, through Heavenly Father, translated the Book of Mormon and restored the gospel to the earth. I know that President Thomas Spencer Monson is the prophet of the church today, and that he leads and directs the church. I know that the Book of Mormon is the word of God and a way for us to find answers to our prayers. I testify that Christ lived, and died, and lives again for me! I know he loves me and knows how I feel. That is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith on a daily basis. Religion to me is not just where/ or if you go to church on Sundays... but rather a way of life. It's who you are. I live my faith by keeping my standards high. I am a member of one of the largest women's organizations in the world. It is called Relief Society. We meet every Sunday and also once a month. We help strengthen one another, care for the sick or needy, and strive to have Charity in our lives. My husband and I also teach the six and seven year olds at church each Sunday. As a family we have Family Home Evenings every Monday night. We use this time to learn more about the gospel and to grow closer as a family. I also visit three sisters every month along with my companion and we teach them and mostly just make sure they are alright. My husband and I also go to the Temple once a month. Some people might think that there is just too much to commit to when becoming a member of the church, but as this is how I was raised... it is just the way I want to spend my life. I love it!
