Hi I'm Justin

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a husband and father of seven children, one of which is already in Heaven. My family lives in a small, rural community in Idaho. Our family enjoys many pets including horses, sheep, cats, a dog, and chickens. We love the outdoors and spend many weekends in the summer camping or working in the garden and around the house as a family. We have pretty simple tastes. I am a civil engineer, love the Constitution and history, and mentor my sons and other young men in the Boy Scouting program.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in a loving, LDS home. I experienced first hand the influence and blessings of the teachings of Jesus Christ and family life that revolved around His gospel. From infancy, I was taught to love God and my family. As a young teenager, I was encouraged to learn for myself what God wanted me to do and believe. In response to sincere prayers and diligent study of God's word in the scriptures, I strengthened my own testimony of God's plan for me and His children. That testimony continues to grow and strengthen my life and my family's life.

How I live my faith

My faith really influences every part of my life. It guides my habits and decisions at work as I strive to deal honestly with others and improve my community. My faith influences how I treat and love my wife. It enhances my parenting skills as I minister to and nurture my children. My faith inspires me to show more charity, compassion, and love to my neighbors, friends, and strangers. I hope never to be accused of being a 1-day a week follower of Jesus Christ!
