Hi I'm Bob

I grew up in Utah. I lived in Spokane, WA for thirty years. My wife and I are serving a mission in Botswana, Africa. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have been married for 39 years to my best friend and every year gets better. I have three children and seven grand children; all of who I do not get to see often enough because they do not live near me. I like to hike, camp, backpack and do anything that gets me in the outdoors so I volunteer on trail crews when I am home. I also like to garden and read nonfiction.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the LDS church and my experiences have taught me that it is true. I have had many times when I have recognized God's hand in my life. At least two times during my mission to the Navajo people I know that He intervened to save my life from immediate danger. I can honestly say that the gospel of Jesus Christ has made all the difference in my life and has brought me many blessings and much happiness.

How I live my faith

I try to serve others and make the world a better place while I am here. I served as the chairman of the high school site committee for eight years. I have helped with Boy Scouts for decades. I worked as a volunteer on trail crews for several years. I love performing serve for others. I have had many assignments in the church and have enjoyed them all - especially working with young people. Associating with them has brought me much happiness and I hope helped them too.
