Hi I'm Janet

I'm a melanoma survivor, a mother of three, and I'm serving a mission in Botswana, Africa. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am married to my best friend and we have three children. I have taught fifth grade for 5 years and have substituted in elementary schools for 12 years. I love to cook, sew, garden, hike, and camp.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised a Mormon and love the values I learned growing up in a family that valued the gospel. I am grateful for the emphasis the church places on family and love knowing that I am a child of God and that we lived before this life, and that life continues after we die. I've learned practical, every day principles that help me live life more happily, more productively, and more effectively from gospel teachings. I was so glad to have the gospel teachings to help us raise our children with strong moral values.

How I live my faith

I have worked in the church organizations for the youth and women and have played the organ for Sunday worship meetings. I have learned a great deal about how to be a better wife, mother, cook, housekeeper, friend, and community member from attending the meetings for women.
