Hi I'm Sandra

I am a school teacher on an Indian reservation. I am a wife, mother and grandmother. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a school teacher. I graduated with my BA in elementary education the same May that my youngest son graduated from high school. I am a grandmother, or Nana, to two beautiful grandchildren. I have 3 grown children and a husband who works out of the country.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because of a wonderful aunt that always remained faithful when others around her were falling away. She ensured that I attended church when I was young and planted the seed to one day be a faithful member. I continue to follow His gospel today as I rely on the blessings that I receive on a daily basis. I currently have a husband that works out the country. Living apart is difficult however, I am blessed everyday with protection and comfort. I know that Heavenly Father also blesses him and keeps him from harm both spiritually and physically. I could not do this without the constant comfort from Him.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by seeking the guidance from Heavenly Father as I try to instill the gospel in the lives of 3 inactive children, one of whom is gay. I live my faith through loving guidance from our church leaders who know how to offer guidance to a some time confused mother. Having an 8 year grandson that I take to church each Sunday helps me to see the gospel through his eyes and know that he is blessed. I also live my faith at work as I teach 4th graders of many religions as I am blessed and guided daily.
