Hi I'm Molly Novak

I was raised in Washington. I have 2 boys and I am very envolved in my community. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in a small town in Washington with my mom & dad, two brothers and my hadicap sister. I currently serve the community in many way. I am the chairperson for the events committee where I live, I serve on the PTSA, I help in my childrens classes and I look for opportunities to help those with special needs. I love scrapbooking/ card making and spending time with my family. I am a mother of two active boys. Running at their speed can be a challange but it keeps me healthy. I am a mother, daughter, sister, friend and disciple of Christ. I am a Mormon.

Why I am a Mormon

The world today is scary. life is scary. there are so many question about why we are here, where did we come from and what will happen after I die. Being a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints gives me all those answers. It brings peace to my soul to know I am a daughter of God. That He loves me and cares for me. He sent His only Son to give His life for me. With all my wrong doings I have done I will be saved through the atonement of my Savior Jesus Christ. I know God has a plan for me and sent me her to earth so that I can learn between good and evil. I know I once was perfect and lived with him and all of the wonderful people here on earth with me. I know he gives me the challages I have been faced with because he loves me! He never said it would be easy but he did say it would be worth it. I look forward to the time when I can be found worthy again to enter His presence. thanks to the sarafice of Jesus Christ. Knowing those questions leads to the truth of Christ gospel. I am grateful for this understanding and knowledge i have of Gods plan for me. I know my family is forever and will now break after this life brings peace to my soul and joy to my face. Each of us are a child of God and just like every parent, He wants what is best for all of us!

How I live my faith

I help in many ways as being a follower of Christ. I believe that when we are in the service of our fellow beings are in the service of our Lord. I work with a team of 3 other women placed in the children of the church. We oversee the gospil learning of the children 18 mo.-12 years old. There are many teacher we have teaching these children but we oversee it all. The program also works with the boy scouts of america once the boys turn 8 years old. The girls from 8-12 activaly partisipate in what is called Activaty Days were they learn life skills of how to be good members of their family, school and community by serving one another and eachother. Some might think this is a big task however it doesn't stop there. I also write with the help of Holy Ghost, a program for the children to share a message of what they we have been learning over the last year through spoken word and song to the whole congragation. It is a big task but it well worth it. I also assist my female friends in times of need by bring in a meal when they might be sick, moving or just need some help. I serve them and when I do this I learn to love them. I might be called upon to clean walls while they prepare their house to move or watch a child while they recover from a birth. Whatever the need however I can help I always try to be there and know that the Lord will send someone when I am in need. Are we not commanded to Love our nieghbor as thyself? This is how I feel I can show my graditude to my Lord and Savior by being His helping hands. I am member of a large housing developement. I feel like events are what bring people out of the woodwork where they may otherwise stay home. I enjoy working with other women of my community to sponsor and put together large scale events for us to meet our nighbors and laugh and smile with one another. I have been apart of the events commitee for two years and currently serve as the chairperson. I know this an important part of serving in Gods Kingdom.
