Hi I'm Ruth

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the mother of three, grandmother of twenty, great-grandmother of forty-nine and great-great-grandmother of two. My hobbies are singing, sewing, and knitting. While raising my family, I worked with my husband in several business adventures; A Western Auto store, grocery store and a furniture store which my son now runs. When I was younger I enjoyed riding horses and still have them on my property. For twenty years my husband and I lived on a working cattle ranch after retiring from the furniture business. I have never enjoyed cooking, but while living on the ranch I learned to can the fruit and vegetables from the trees and the garden and found satisfaction in my accomplishment.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the church and continue in my faith because I believe that Joseph Smith was a prophet of God. I believe that God has called many prophets over the years who have served Him faithfully. I know that Thomas S. Monson is a living prophet who leads and guides us on the earth today.

How I live my faith

I love music and have been in many choirs and directed music on occasion. I love doing geneology and have served faithfully in any capacity that I have been asked to. I attend my church meetings and have taught my children and grand-children to live the Gospel and keep the commandments.
