Hi I'm Marta

I'm a Mom, a Grandma, a brain tumor survivor, an artist, an HR profession, I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Who I am, not in order of importance:) Some people call me sunshine, I smile alot! I love to create things, crafts, clothes, jewelry, I'm an artist, paint, clay, just about any medium. My favorite childhood dream was to be a Mom, and that I am, and so happy to be one 3 times. Now I am Grandma to 7 babies. That is really my greatest joy! I am more then a 10 year survivor of a brain tumor. I work full time in a 2 person HR dept. in a medium size metal stamping factory. I'm a redhead. I'm a friend, I love people. I'm a wife, I'm a Mormon

Why I am a Mormon

In my 30's I had aattended 5 churches, and had not felt what I had expected to in any of them. I did enjoy going but I felt like I was looking for something, something I had not found yet. I did not grow up in any church and was looking for what I missed. But not knowing what that was. I finally found in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I found the message of Christs Gospel being taught from the podium and practiced in the everyday life of the members. Most of all I felt the guidance of the Holy Ghost telling me I was where my Heavenly Father & Jesus Christ had led me.

How I live my faith

I share this love of Christ that I have found by being kind, by looking for the good in everyone. One of our simplest Primary (childrens) lesson is "I am a child of God" I find it very easy to look at the people I come in contact with and see them in that light. Serving others, not in any huge world changing way, but in simple acts of kindness and love. In that serving I am following Christs example. I know He is my Brother, and my Savior, and I try everyday, to live up to that.
