Hi I'm Alina

I am a daughter. I am a friend. I love to smile:) I love to laugh! I couldn't pass a day without listening to music. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am half Samoan and half Caucasian. I love to have fun and be with my family and friends! The ocean is my favorite place to be. I am a high school student and I love being a teenager. I have a passion for music. I love to dance! I work hard and do my best to accomplish my goals. I have moved many times in my life and am now residing in Indiana. Nothing makes me happier then seeing others enjoying life. Little children can always make me smile :) I live life to its fullest and love to realize that there is so much potential in the world and so much to be thankful for. I dream. I wish. I achieve.

Why I am a Mormon

Ever since I was a little girl I have been raised as a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I am so grateful for my parents and their wonderful examples that led me to love the gospel. Through their testimonies I was able to gain one of my own. I have pondered and prayed on whether this church is true and received a personal witness that it is. Without a doubt I am proud to proclaim that through it I will be led on the path of righteousness and return to God. I am a Mormon because through all its teachings it indicates that God lives! Through this church I have the opportunity to explore the truth and light of the gospel. As I look around me there is no question that there is a God. He lives and has blessed me with so much. The gospel has impacted my life tremendously and I don’t know what I would do without it. Life would be incomplete. Through the gospel I am able to become closer to my Savior Jesus Christ and realize how much my father in heaven loves me. I will continue being a Mormon because of the joy it brings me. As I look around at the world I see the momentary and insignificant little pleasures it offers, but through my faith I am able to recognize what is most important and experience true happiness.

How I live my faith

I live my faith through simple actions. Whether it’s smiling at someone, or offering a lending hand, I do it with all that my heart can give. I jump at opportunities to serve those around me and do my best to live to the expectations of my Heavenly Father. Being far from perfect I pick myself back up as I stumble and fall. I strive to be an example at school and let my Saviors light shine through me. I never look down on anyone and pursue to be friends with everyone I meet :) Every spare moment I have results in reflecting on my Savior, studying the scriptures, and communicating with my father in heaven through prayer. But, most importantly, I live my faith through doing what Christ expects of me. My potential is boundless and I humbly and ultimately try to become like my Savior through everything I do. I do not doubt that I live my faith because through my actions, through my words, and through my deeds I try to be an example of Jesus Christ.
