Hi I'm Candice

I grew up in Utah and now live in Arizona. I am a wife, mother, daughter, sister, friend and most importantly, a Mormon.

About Me

I am a wife and stay at home mother of three. Before I had children I was an event planner and loved my job. But giving up my career was something I always knew I would do once I had children. I have now been able to use my skill in planning events for family and friends and also in many ward callings. It is part of who I am. I love being a mom. I also enjoy traveling, wood working, date nights with my husband and spending time with family and friends.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because living the gospel provides peace, guidance, comfort, purpose and joy to my life. I was born and raised in the church. My faith is something that I've never questioned. My parents taught me the importance of prayer, scripture study, temple and church attendance. It wasn't until college, living on my own, that I realized my testimony had become my own. While going through a challenging time I learned that my Heavenly Father was very aware of me and loved me. He wasn't going to give me a trial that I could not overcome and had provided many resources to help me get through the tough times. It was my responsibility to choose how to handle these tough times. Blessings were poured out with correct choices and I felt His constant love. Now being married and having three young children in our home, this gospel is more important than ever to me. Knowing that I get to be with my family forever provides a comfort that I can't imagine living without. In this world of wavering standards it is imporant to me to raise my children in a home that is constant. The gospel provides that consistency and I wouldn't change it for anything. I love my Heavenly Father and Savior Jesus Christ. I know this gospel is true and that we have a living prophet to guide and direct us in this crazy world. Being a Mormon makes me happy and my family happy.

How I live my faith

I hope I live my faith through example. Being raised by a faithful mother, I know the importance of my children participating in daily scripture study and prayer, weekly family home evening and church attendance and in serving others. I also know the importance of my children seeing me participate in my own scripture study, prayer, temple attendance, service, etc. I have the privilege of serving with the women in my ward. I am able to plan and faciliate monthly activities, teach Sunday lessons and visit the sisters in their homes. I also hold monthly canning activities in my home to help those in our community build up their food storage.
