Hi I'm Elder Millett

I'm a Mormon. I'm in high school. I'm an Eagle Scout. I ride a unicyle and I was adopted.

About Me

I have graduated high school. I have 3 sisters and all 4 of us were adopted. With 3 sisters, I rarely get to pick the movie we watch. I like to build things and one day I plan to build my own car. I also want to work with computers when im older. I taught myself how to ride a unicycle and I enjoy riding it to and from school. I am an Eagle Scout. I am really excited to start my career and i hope to have a lot of investments.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because my parents are Mormon. If my parents hadn't adopted me when I was 18 months old, I would probably be smoking and taking drugs by now. There's a good chance I would have dropped out of school too. I'm glad I'm a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints because it teaches me what kind of things are harmful to the body. I've learned that a good education is very important. And as a Mormon I learn how to give service and help other people. I feel good inside when I am able to help another person.

How I live my faith

I go to church every Sunday and when I'm there, I feel peace inside and know that my Heavenly Father loves me. He knows who I am. I go to an activity one night during the week for teenagers in our church. At these activities I am able to have fun and hang out with other teenagers who have the same values as I do. Because of the things I've learned at church, I don't participate in conversations at school that are not appropriate and I don't say swear words or watch R rated movies. I try every day to be a better person.
