Hi I'm Taylor

I paint, write and read. I rescue dogs part time. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am married to the man of my dreams. We have our precious dog Tonks and a little one on the way to make up our family. I am an avid reader and it has led me to want to be a successful writer. Soccer is my sport but for the past year I have picked up a new hobby. Rescuing dogs and trying to find them better, happier homes. Tonks (our dog) was our first rescue and we just fell in love!

Why I am a Mormon

Everything about the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is why I am a Mormon. Most important to me is the concept of Eternal Families. Not only do I have my family to love and cherish here but even after I go on from this life to the next my family will forever be with me. The knowledge it brings to know that the people I love here on this Earth will be with me forever is all I need to keep me faithful and excited about the LDS church. I love the atmosphere and the spirit I feel every time I attend church. I love the Relief Society and how united it keeps the women in the church. I love the Prophet and every time he speaks I know without a doubt that what he is saying is true. That he will always lead us down the path of Righteousness. I am a Mormon because of the teachings of Christ and the example of He gives. I love Him with all of my heart. I want to be like Him in every way and I am so thankful for His atoning sacrifice so that I may be with Him and our Father once again. I know I mess up and sometimes it seems to bad to face Him but he is there to yes judge us but also to give us His forgiving grace if we but repent with a knowledge we have done wrong. Everything about the LDS church is why I am and will forever stay a member.

How I live my faith

I try each and everyday to be an example of Christ. I try to be nice to all I see and when life seems to get me down I remember all the blessings I have, my friends, family and loved ones. I try and help others who are going through tough times because I know they would do the same for me. We are in this together. We need to love and help each other along the road in life. We are all children of our Heavenly Father, and I like to help people remember that. My calling at church is to teach the 6 year olds about the Gospel and about Christ. It is such a vital task I have of teaching these young ones because I am helping to set the foundation of Christ in their hearts and helping them to understand and gain testimonies of His gospel.
