Hi I'm Courtney Bowlden

I am a wife, and mother of two. I am a professional photographer. I am an artist & singer. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a very passionate person. I constantly have to have music playing in my house or in my car. I love a really good artsy film or movie. I am a local photographer specializing in High School senior portraits and weddings. I love art! When I am not working, I like to make cards, play with my kids, and snuggle with my family. I enjoy making new friends and long conversations.

Why I am a Mormon

The bottom line is that I will be with my family forever. Nothing in this life is more important to me than my family. I love my parents, sister and brother and my own personal family at home. I want to see them again and be with them for eternity. I am happiest when I am with my family, go to church and am around my ward family. I love being uplifted by positive messages the church offers. I love my Savior Jesus Christ and I know that only through Him I am forgiven for my sins. I have seen the other side of life and for me, I know that I am right where I need to be.

How I live my faith

Music is a big passion for me, and I love my calling as the womens music conductor/coordinator. I love choosing the songs to sing on Sunday and feeling the Spirit through music. I help my ward family when they need me and love having the missionaries over for dinner.

How can I know Mormonism is true?

Courtney Bowlden
For me, I had to really work hard to know. I knew that it was a good place, but I wasn't sure if it was the right place. For a few weeks I had struggled to really know. One day I was watching general conference and it felt as if one of the speakers was talking directly towards me. He was answering all these specific questions I had asked my Heavenly Father the night before. I felt like I had been hit by a ton of bricks. Tears filled my eyes and that was the first time I KNEW that this church was true. That wasn't the last time I had that feeling either. There have been several other occasions where I have felt the Spirit tell me the church was true. Show more Show less
