Hi I'm Betty

I grew up on a farm in Eastern Washington. I am a mother of three wonderful grown children and I have been married for 25 year.

About Me

I am a mother, a wife and a mormon. I love to work in my yard. I love when my children are home and I love my husband. I have three wonderul children. One on a mission, one at BYU Prove and one striving to know where she fits in to Gods plan. I have struggled in my life to keep the commandments of our Heavenly Father and not always succeeded. I do know that keeping the commandments is the only way to truly being happy in this life. I have come to know through the trials of life that our Heavenly Father loves me. I know the only way to truly be happy is to keep the commandments. As I do small things that are good I feel comfort and peace. Life is very difficult, but being a Mormon and knowing my purpose here on earth makes the challenges I encounter easier to endure. Life is good. It is the choices we make that help to bring us joy in this life.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up a member of the church, but was not converted until I was in the MTC going on a mission to Chicago. I heard a General Authority speak while at the MTC that changed my life. I felt the Holy Ghost witness to me of the truth of the message I was going to share. Since 1982 I have had many struggles in life. Financial stability, loss of my father, struggles my children have gone through. With all of lifes challenges the one constant thing in my life is my Father in Heaven. Knowing he loves me and is wanting the very best for me. Knowing my children, husband and parents can all live together for Eternity is what helps me persevere. Life is hard. Jesus is our Savior and died for all of us and Heavenly Father will always be by our side helping us. This knoweldge is why I am a mormon. This Testimony gives me hope that Eternity will be a place of joy and comfort. My goal is to be with my family forever in my Heavenly Fathers presence. The knowledge I have that it is up to me if I am with my family in Heavenly Fathers Kingdom brings joy an peace.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by striving to be honest with my neighbors and people I come in contact with. I live my faith by being obedient to Gods commandments. I attend the Temple, I pray and I strive to read the scripture daily. I go to church to feel my Heavenly Fathers spirit. I strive each month to visit teach and to help others know of Heavenly Fathers love for them. I strive to forgive and love others as I want to be loved. I think aloI grew up a member of the church, but was not converted until I was in the MTC going on a mission to Chicago. I have three wondrful children and a husband who is a convert to the Mormon faith. Two of our children have served missions, in fact our daughter is currently on a misson at this time. We struggle every day to choose to live righteously. We rely on our Heavenly Father daily to help us.I think a lot about the Savior and his love and how he forgave others. This is my goal, to try to live more like the Savior.
