Hi I'm Kris

I served my mission in Las Vegas, I am a professional account, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Right now I'm unemployed. I'm hoping that doesn't last for too much longer. Finished my university degree over 3 years ago now, and took a few term jobs in accounting. So, the hope I mentioned earlier is to find another job in the accounting field. I play sports when I can, such as soccer, volleyball, and basketball. Read when I find a good book, and am trying to increase my education by taking more courses. These courses should make me more employable. We'll see what happens with that.

Why I am a Mormon

I know that God and Jesus Christ both live, and that they are still concerned about us. They have not left us alone to struggle through this life and have provided a way for us to gain knowledge through a comforter, the Holy Ghost. I know the Book of Mormon is the word of God. Knowing that, there is very little else I can be besides a Mormon or Latter-Day Saint. Knowing that the Book of Mormon is the word of God helps me to know that Joseph Smith was a prophet. That he was needed to restore the Church of Jesus Christ on the Earth in it's entirety, and that we have a prophet on the Earth today. I am grateful for this because knowing of the restoration I have the knowledge that a prophet leads and guides us today. He may just be a man, but because of his experiences God has prepared to lead us now and gives him the guidance we need to hear. I trust that he will guide us correctly as the Spirit has confirmed to me. He is a servant of the Lord and you can find that out for yourself as well. All you have to do is pray.

How I live my faith

This is one of those ever changing things. As I strive to be more like God and Jesus Christ I am constantly tweaking my approach to this. Trying to keep the commandments as I understand them. As part of this when asked to help at church or in the community and there is no valid reason that I can't help, or shouldn't help then I'll be there. Whether it's taking the youth to activities, helping with a service project, or giving someone a ride. I'm lend my helping hands.
