Hi I'm Ethan

I grew up in Sandy and South Jordan, Utah. I like to draw, sing, dance, study philosophy and history. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a man of simple tastes. I like food and art, and sometimes I like to put those together. I like to be creative with what I have and reading books with background and depth, included history and philosophy. I am 21 years old. I am the youngest of six children. And I love animals. I enjoy having animal companions. I have two Queensland Heelers (Red Heelers) who are among my best friends. I enjoy being active with friends, family, and meeting new people where ever I go.

Why I am a Mormon

I was baptized when I was eight. I understood the church was true and believed it because my family did. I trusted my Father and my older brother who I look to. When I was around the age of 12 I was having problems with nightmares and thinking about myths and legends and wondering if they came from actual events. So I became scared, it made me question if what I had been taught was true. I then prayed to my Heavenly Father to know if it was true. It didn't come immediatlly but I kept praying. I knew that if I wanted to know I had to be earnest and sincere about it. So I prayed again. And through my tears I felt a warmth I had never felt before. It touched my heart and I felt more at home then I had ever felt even then when I was at home. I felt more comfort and warmth then even the presence of my Father or older brother could compare. I recieved the promise of the Holy Ghost given through the scriptures and it was then that I knew the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints really was a true church and it had the Lords fully restored Gospel here on the earth.

How I live my faith

I try to do my best to live worthily of my callings. I currenly serve the Lord as a missionary in San Bernardino, California. And I am loving it! When I was a home teacher I would pray with my Father to invite the spirit to be with us as we visit our neighbors and share messages with them which is always a joy. As I go to sleep I pray to my Heavenly Father and when I wake up, I pray again. I remember to study the Lords Gospel and try to live its teachings. I don't organize any activities or events but I do have a calling to teach. So I try to learn what I can and share what I know and live what I know.
