Hi I'm Wendy

Wife to 1 amazing husband. Mom to 4 fabulous daughters, Grandma to 4 sweet grandbabies. Daughter, sister, friend & I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My parents are the "pioneers" in my family. When I was 5 years old, my brother was killed. He was eight. I remember my father asking my aunt and uncle, "Will I ever see my son again?". My aunt bore her testimony about the plan of salvation and how families can be together forever. I remember my father asking more questions and my aunt had the missionaries come to our home. The missionaries taught us the gospel. My parents and older sister were baptized. When I turned eight, my father baptized me. On my 12th birthday, my parents, 2 sisters and a family friend as a proxy for my brother, went to the Washington D.C. temple where we were sealed as a forever family! The gospel has brought peace into the lives of my parents, sisters and myself, and has made it possible for us to be together, forever.

Why I am a Mormon

I love the gospel of Jesus Christ! I love being able to pray anytime, anywhere, for whatever reason and know that my Heavenly Father hears me. He answers my prayers and I am so blessed for this knowledge. I love knowing that our Heavenly Father is mindful of us, collectively and individually! I love knowing that if we keep His commandments we will be happy and will be able to return to live with Him, our Savior and our families! I have had many experiences in my life that solidify this knowledge! I am so thankful to know what I know! I wish that everyone knew who they were, why there are here, and where they are going...like me. This knowledge brings me peace-especially when there is hardship and uncertainty in my life. I am sure that He lives and loves me!

How I live my faith

I have served in many capacities in my ward. I am currently teaching children about Jesus Christ, his life and how we can be like him. I have 14 active children that attend my class weekly. They are such sweet children with such strong spirits and are so loving. I am truly blessed to be their teacher! They teach me, more than I teach them!
