Hi I'm Melanie

I'm an aspiring musician and writer. I'm a wife, mother, and a daughter of God. And, I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm the mother of two children and a homemaker and the wife of a grad student. I studied music and enjoy playing the piano, viola, and singing. I recently started calling myself a writer. I hope to write a book about my childhood games and share it with my sisters. I love to bake cookies, and go camping.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, but I have gained my own testimony about the truth of this gospel. I have come to know about the love that our Savior, Jesus Christ has for each of us. I have felt many times, the truth, that I am a daughter of God. Our Heavenly Father cares about our lives and listens to our prayers. I know that Jesus Christ lives! I know that the Bible is true, and that it tells us about the life of Jesus Christ. I know that the Book of Mormon is another testament of Jesus Christ; it tells us about Christ's ministry in the americas. I know that we have been sent to this earth to learn and better ourselves. I know that when we die, we can be together with our loved ones. I know that this church, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, is the restored gospel of Jesus Christ. And, that all who come unto him will have eternal life.

How I live my faith

In my church I am called as the young women camp director. And, this year I had the opportunity to take the young women, ages 12-18, on a camping trip. The theme we chose was "Be Loyal to the Royal Within". We wanted to teach the young women about their inner beauty and how to gain vitrue. With daily prayer and scripture study, I have found that the spirit of the Lord guides me in my life and helps me when life becomes hard.
