Hi I'm Christina

I am a Arizona native, I am a registered nurse, mom, and wife. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a native to AZ and am the youngest of 3 children. I was raised in the church with a great family. I am proud of my heritage and my ancestors and what they went through for me. I have been married for 16 years to a hard working, awesome, loving husband. We have 3 beautiful daughters. I grew up in a big city and met my husband on a blind date. He grew up riding horses and being a cowboy. So guess what... Yep, I now live with 6 horses, goats, cows, and a dog. I have loved being a city/country girl. My family and I love to spend time at the rodeos and outdoors together. When I am not at home, I work as a RN with the newborn babies and mothers. I love being a mother and teaching these girls that they are daughters of heavenly father and that they are important. I love to try new adventures. I love to bake and spend time with my family. I like to travel and one day would love to travel to Australia.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a mormon because without the gospel in my life it would be full of darkness and no direction. I have seen many miracles in my life that have come through faith, prayer, and fasting. I love the support that the women receive in the gospel and the companionship that is felt here. I love the gospel and the light it brings to my life and the life of my children. I have many family members who do not follow the teachings of the church and I see how they are struggling and pray for them to want to have the gospel back into their lives. I was raised in the church and around many mormon people. ALthough I was raised in the church I always went off of others testimonies. It wasn't until I was a young adult that I really gained a strong testimony of who I am and Heavenly Fathers plan for me. I have faced many difficult challenges in my life. I lost my father when I was 12 years old and watched my mother support and raise three teenagers. Because of this I am a pretty independent person and believe that we need to teach our children how to work. I recently came face to face with death and struggled to survive. I know that without the gospel in my life I would be a very lost soul. The faith and the love that I know my Father in heaven has for me has got me through these and other difficult events in my life. I know that this church is true and I know the teachings are true. I am grateful for the knowlege I have of the plan of salvation and eternal life. I am grateful for the atonement in my life and know that i am not perfect but everyday I try to be better than I was yesterday. I know that my Heavenly Father loves me and I am never alone. No matter what challenges come my way he will help me through them.

How I live my faith

I have the awesome opportunity to spend time with the 16-18 year old girls in the church. They are such a shining example to me. I love sharing with them in their lives and their experiences as youth. It is so much fun to plan activities and to watch them learn and grow in the gospel. I love to teach them and give them the tools they need to withstand the challenges and peer pressure surrounding them. Although I think that I learn more from them sometimes. Everytime I am with these young women I am amazed at how they walk in faith and carry themselves. They truly know that they are daughters of God. My three daughters love to look to them as examples and learn from them. I go visit 3 women every month and learn and grow from their experiences and leave a message of faith, hope, and charity with them.
